I also tried to install the driver mentioned here, but compiling it failed for me. after 500ms, disconnecting previously (like here). Some of the things I've tried are turning off N on the router and adding these and these suggestions to rc.local. It seems to happen when I'm sshed into the machine, but it could just be coincidence. My wireless connection keeps dropping after about 10 minutes.
